What is it?
Genbook is a cloud based scheduling service that enables businesses/professions to schedule appointments online.

How does it work?
Users can add Genbook’s “Book Now” button to their website, blog, email or Facebook page, giving both their existing and prospective clients access to the tool. In addition to the “Book Now” button, users also have access to a scheduling page that includes their logo, customer reviews, product/service list, company info and a Google Map to help people find their location. Users can also determine the timeslots they make available. Windows can be as short as 15 minutes and clients can make appointments up to a year in advance. There’s also a facility for recurring appointments. When someone schedules an appointment, Genbook updates the users profile accordingly.

How much does it cost?
Genbook is currently available on a Free 30 day trial. When the trail period ends, users can choose between a solo plan for around $20 a month, or a standard account for around $40 a month. The solo plan includes access for one person whereas the standard account is unlimited.

Closing comments
Genbook is an ideal solution for SME’s as it requires very little technical expertise to set up and avoids them having to build an appointment scheduling facility into their website.
