Offerpop gives you the opportunity to add custom marketing campaigns to your Facebook page, and with over 300,000 monthly active users it is extremely popular. However, the app has a review of only 3 stars out of a possible 5 so not every user is blown away by what Offer pop has to offer.

When it comes to the retail sector, Offerpop has been used by retail giants such as Tesco to great effect, and have some brilliant examples on their website of how retailers have used the app. Tesco run the app on their Facebook page, take a look at how it works (you have to become a fan to do so), advertising a competition which includes a form and quiz questions – plus no advertising or Offerpop logos – often one of the benefits of paying for an app.

While Offerpop do charge for their services, pages with 500 fans or less incur no fee and prices after that start at just $30. You can also run your first campaign for free for a period of 30 days, so there is no harm in trying it out!
