Twitter Tool Tuesday – Buffer

Print Friendly

Buffer is a tweet scheduling tool that allows users to enter a number of tweets and Buffer will automatically spread them throughout the day – delivering them at the best possible time.

All you have to do is log into the buffer home panel where you can add as many tweets as you like. There’s even a browser extension for Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari that allows you to add tweets from any page you’re on. If you’re not happy with the times Buffer is sending your tweets you can adjust the times, so it offers great flexibility.

Users can also track the impact of their tweets via an analytics tab on the home panel. Here you can view link clicks, retweets and who retweeted you.

Because Buffer distributes tweets at the times they’ll be most effective, it’s a great way to reach the largest possible number of your twitter followers with each tweet. It also saves having to log into Twitter multiple times each day, which can be very time consuming, especially if you have a lot to say.
